My Fitness Bible: Blogilates

Meet Cassey, a bionerd turned fitness diva. She’s cute, she’s funny and she’ll make you hurt in a good way.

I first met Cassey on YouTube with her PopPilates videos. Her pilates videos are easy to follow, convenient for at-home workouts and feature awesome music. Most of them are about 10 minutes long and focus on a specific muscle group, which lets you customize your pilates session in terms of what you want to work out and for how long.

Her blog also features some fun stuff like fashion finds and food porn (yes it exists). Oh and did I mention the nutrition guides and killer recipes? She definitely makes having a healthy lifestyle that much easier.

Lady Gaga: Yoga and Whiskey

(via YogaDork and RTE Ten)

The ‘Born This Way’ singer confessed to a fondness for whiskey but insisted that she balances her alcohol intake by doing a lot of yoga.

“I am on the drunk diet. I live my life as I want to, and creatively,” she told American radio station SiriusXM. “I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I am working. But the deal is I’ve got to work out every day, and I work out hung over if I am hung over.

“It’s about the cross-training and keeping yourself inspired. I have to say, I do a ton of yoga.”
